Palembang, 30 July 2023 – PT. Quantum Infra Solusindo, PT. Sysmex Indonesia, and PT. Saba Indomedika, which is part of the Digital Healthcare Solution – Medinfras, participated in activities at the National Leadership Meeting (RAPIM) of PERDHAKI (Indonesian Health Dharma Work Association) which took place from 27 July to 30 July 2023 at the Wyndam Hotel – Palembang.
The encouragement of the Indonesian government through Minister of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 which requires all health service facilities (fasyankes) to use electronic medical records as documents in providing services at health facilities has caused anxiety among health facility providers in Indonesia to compete to immediately implement a electronic medical record software that is complete and has been tested and is fast, easy and concise in its application.
Mr. Benny Hendra as Director of Medinfras was the speaker at the meeting with the topic “Optimizing Workflow With EMR (Electronic Medical Record)” which discussed not how quickly you have to have an EMR but how important it is to optimize electronic medical records which can help health facility providers in improving performance and collaboration of doctors, nurses and other medical personnel so that they can work more regularly and be fully documented electronically. In the end, EMR can reduce the occurrence of miscommunication, save costs on paper usage and archive storage locations and reduce manual recording work time.
The implementation of EMR – Medinfras in several health facilities has proven to be able to help medical personnel focus more on service to patients which in turn can increase customer satisfaction and patient safety. Other experiences have proven that optimizing electronic medical record workflows can save 80% “cost savings” in paper usage including the location of archive storage and can even save 40% “labor savings” because it often happens that medical personnel have to keep making repeated records, resulting in redundancy and duplication. recording can even lead to human errors that could have been avoided.
Minister of Health Regulation no. 13 of 2022 also includes several articles that require health facilities throughout Indonesia to have electronic medical records that are guided by the EMR Adoption Model maturity standards from HIMSS (Hospital Information Management System Society). PT. Quantum Infra Solusindo is a member of HIMMS with a position as a Digital Health Transformation Partner (DHTP) so that the model and pattern of Medinfras software solutions are designed following the EMR Adoption Model maturity rules in accordance with the “paperless” level of HIMSS
